Hi dev team.
Thankyou for this software.
I'm using lastest version of PTGUI PRO. And I got a issue when create Panorama.
I take DNG image with my drone, and got this result when using PTGUI PRO.

We can see that all the photos have very strong vignetting, to the point where the four corners of the image have small black marks as shown in the image below
2.png

I thought this issue was due to my camera, and tried to find a way to fix it in PTGUI following the instructions on the website: https://ptgui.com/examples/vigntutorial.html. However, the result was not satisfactory.
That's strange because when I look at the Preview images in Windows Explorer, I don't see any photos with such strong vignetting.

I tried opening the images in Photoshop, then saved them as 16-bit TIFF and used them with PTGUI. Strangely, now in PTGUI, I don't see any photos with vignetting. The result is very impressive

So, I want to ask if PTGUI automatically added vignetting to my DNG images during processing? Because I think my original DNG images were not affected by vignetting when I took them. When I opened them in Photoshop, I didn't do any vignetting correction, just opened and saved them as TIFF.
Is there any solution to this situation? Opening DNG files and saving them as TIF with Photoshop takes too much time, especially with 25 photos for a panorama.

Here is folder link of all image (DNG and TIFF). Please check it out.

Thankyou.

That could be possible, if you have the wrong vignetting curve set on
Exposure/HDR tab. You can reset it to default to be sure.

However, it is more likely the other way round. First of all, raw DNG
files are no images. They contain the raw camera data, which always
needs processing to be viewed. Photoshop probably corrects your images
silently, while PTGui does not. That might be the reason why you see
vignetting if you feed your raw images to PTGui.

So your best bet is to convert your images to 16bit TIFF (which won't
lose dynamic range if done correctly) using photoshop. This is
recommended anyway, since PTGui does a very basic raw conversion only,
without (f.e.) noise reduction and chromatic aberration removal. See
https://ptgui.com/support.html#3_7 for details.

Thank you for support.

But convert TIFF is so painfull. If I want to create 10 panoramas, i have to convert 250 images.
Do you know which way to do it faster, like batch convert or automatic convert?

Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) allows for batch processing. You can use Adobe
Bridge to feed all images at once to ACR, then select all to process
them each with the same settings, which is essential for panorama
stitching. Avoid auto settings.

In ptgui you can define your own vignetting files! In cases where the automatic anti-vignetting does not work well it is a good method. I use it frequently, because sometimes using no vignetting compensation gives me results like yours, but using the compensation might be too strong.

The vignetting file is a text file with coefficient for a polynom.

Aké je to miesto prosím?
