it uses open seadragon to display.
I just use paint.net to create the composite pics, I'm limited to 72k wide for now.

I'm using a sony a7rii and rokinon 135mm for most of the full pano's like the most recent (top) one.

I'm not happy with how the buildings look out of vertical.  

I'm watching for the next clear day to reshoot and I'll use a Sony 70-200 2.8 II lens to see how it compares.

any other sugguestions on how to improve?  it does look a bit 'plastic' on the zoom out version, thats probably causes by vips, the program I'm using to create the image pyramid.

not with this set but I have used it in the past and its not foolproof.  I believe if you try vertical line control points it can cause other problems in other parts of the panorama.  it can't heal just that single spot.
not that I have a particular problem with that, its just that the initial fit has to be as good as possible so those adjustments can be minimized.
Right now I'm using a Rokinon 135mm fixed lens that rates very high in sharpness, but I suspect there is an image distortion problem that the software can't completely fix.  I tried to line up two overlapping pics in a graphing program and saw there was stretching in on image that made it impossible to perfectly align with its neighbor picture.  I think I'm at a point where I need to try a classic sony lens and see if the problem goes away.  image sharpness should improve as well anyway.

In Lightroom (and Photoshop) there is a lens profile for Rokinon 135mm f/2 ED UMC. Have you tried it for correcting distortions?

I'd be interested to give it a try. Could you provide for download three
full size images, where this is a problem?

BTW.: There are two uses for vertical line control points right now:
Include in single pass or level in second pass. The latter, which is
default, would try to level the whole panorama by trying to align all
vertical control point pairs as vertical as possible.

The Include in one pass option attempts to align the individual images
vertically, while still optimizing the overall control point distance.

It would also be interesting to see what sort of optimization figures were being obtained.  Loose optical elements can sometimes cause anomalous effects but that doesn't seem likely when simply rotating the camera smoothly around.  But I, too, was about to request a sample set of images when Erik's request appeared!  It's most intriguing.
