Hello, I'm using a translator, so please understand if the meaning is a little unnatural.
I'm using the Anapi drone. I bought it this time because I can take pictures of the sky.
I'm going to take a 360-degree panorama picture.
I selected DNG + JPEG WIDE in the photo mode.
Turning at an angle of 45 degrees from the horizontal, I took eight pictures.
I took 8 pictures at an angle of +45.
I took 8 pictures at an angle of -45.
I took one at +90 degrees Celsius and one at -90 degrees Celsius.
I took a total of 26 pictures.
Image alignment was performed in ptgui.
It's not easy to get control points manually.
Overall, there is a problem with stitching.
It seems to me that the upper and lower overlapping parts are small, so I think I need to take more pictures.
What angle should I take it to make the stitching work in ptgui?

You should be aware that your translator keeps appending the word "Celsius" means you reference degrees which is temperature rather than a field of view.
Try adding your word for "angle".
To join images, PTGUI needs image with things it them to match together. I have had problems joining images that overlapped on the ocean where is not texture that can be joined because the ocean keeps changing between the snapshots. My problem not yours.

You need to describe what sort of image you are trying to join. The sky  for example is almost impossible.  Assuming your image do have some objects that can link adjacent images you need to be sure that each image you take overlaps with previous  images. 8 pictures at 45 degrees would take you round 360 degrees but with no overlap. So reduce the angle and take more pictures at a smaller angle.

Turn the gimbal camera from horizontal to 45 degrees. It's a wide setting, so 20-30% overlap.
However, the overlapping ratio of the top and bottom screens seems to be smaller.
The gimbal camera is at +45, -45 degrees angle.
I think we should take it at an angle of +30, +60, -30, and -60 degrees.
This increases the overlap between the top and bottom.
The problem is that I have to take too many pictures. It's hard.
And when you take it in a circle, you have to move the stick only from side to side, but the angle of the stick is slightly twisted from side to side, so the anafidron moves finely up and down.

Lee,

Your frame : 3 row of 8 images + top and bottom works pretty well with the Anafi. You don't need to make more images.

For what it's worth, find here the lens parameters ptgui v10 calculated for the last template I use.
If you need more info with Anafi manual panorama contact me off list.

Joost, can you tell if ptg v10 templates can be read with last version pls.

Thank you so much.
When I put in the set value that I told you, the stitching went better than in the past.
But there are still some parts that don't fit, and it's not easy to modify them manually.
If you optimize it in ptgui, the stitching will be messed up.
I manually modified the image in the panorama editor without optimizing it,
but it's difficult.
I want to keep getting help.
If you let me know your email address, I'd like to send you pictures that I took personally.
If you can stitch it for me.

Anafi drones shake their cameras little by little even when hovering. Even though it's not that windy.
I'm carefully moving the controller stick from side to side and shooting it in a circle,
but I think it's not suitable for a panorama drone because it can move up and down (as if it shakes slightly even if left alone).
However, it is the only drone that takes a picture of the sky, so there is no other alternative.
If i take a picture above a building, i can take a picture with a mavic drone and synthesize the sky.
But when taking pictures in the middle of a building or below it, anapidrons are the only alternative.
I want to keep getting help.

Hi, the Anafi drone has a built-in sequence for taking spherical panoramas.  I have used that a number of times and have been very pleased with the results.  Attached is my Anafi flight checklist -- panorama details on page 2.

Thank you. I also took a panorama automatically in Anafi.
i took a total of 42 pictures.
The problem is that it cannot create a dng file.
I'm not satisfied with the quality.
In the case of a mavic drone, it creates raw files.
So I was able to get a clearer file.
So I have no choice but to take it manually with anapfi.
Because of the dng file creation.
