topdown Panorama with Mavic 3 Cine

Hi

I wanted to take a photo of a roof (topdown) but since there's a small airport nearby, I only was allowed to fly 30 meters high. That was not enough to capture the whole roof, so I decided to take plenty of shots while moving the drone a few feets forward after every shot. Now I've problem stitching those together. I think the parallex thing causes the problem. Another possibility could be of course, my skilllevel in PTGUI. Can somebody help me with that? Here are the files:

Hi Tenzin,

I'm sorry but this will not work. In general, panoramas must be taken
from exactly the same viewpoint.

There's one exception: if the surface to be photographed is exactly
flat; in this case you can move the camera and stitch the images as a
mosaic. But here the surface is not flat at all, resulting in huge
parallax errors.

You need photogrammetry software for this sort of application.

 

There are a number of free /paid options ranging from hobbyist to professional output.

 

Screen shot attached of your images run through Reality Capture. This is one of the more professional packages but is free to use and you pay for licensing the image files (once only) – ill send you an image diretlky once processed.
