Good afternoon Yall,
I’m having trouble editing a track.
The track I want to edit is selected and is shown, but it won’t tab to transient, even though tab to transient is checked.
It also doesn’t cut anything Ive tried selecting.
Any ideas what might be the issue?
And any idea and how to resolve the issue?
Also I’m using ProTools 2020.3
Cheers,
Steven Salas

I wonder if your cursor is actually in the track and the track option
in the edit window is set to wav (if memory serves).

Try moving to another track with control P or semicollon then go back and try splitting again? Not sure about transient mode though.

Make sure your track view is set to Waveform. Make sure Edit selection is following track selection under the Options menu. Use Control p or Control semicolon to move the edit selection to an adjacent track and then back to the track you wish to edit. That should probably do it.
HTH,
