Hi list members.
Hope everyone is having a good week. I got a text earlier this morning from my stepdad about an opportunity for me to work on a project. One of our former students who attended the Music Academy on Saturdays that I currently work at is working on a project for his grandma and needed help with editing it. Basically, the former student recorded about 150 songs off the radio, but needs the beginnings and endings of the songs edited because of talking in commercials. Then I think he wants them organized together in a certain order after that. I know I could definitely do this easily with ProTools Ultimate, but I don’t have that type of system yet. I was wondering if ProTools Intro would be accessible for me to use for working on this project now, or would I need to use the Artist version instead? Which version would be the most accessible For me to accomplish this? Also, I have a MacBook Air with an M2 chip running Ventura. Would this work for using ProTools? Is Mac OS Sonoma supported yet with ProTools as well? I don’t have a control surface right now, so I will be using the keyboard for editing.
Thanks.
Katie

Hi,

Pro tools intro does  in fact support eight mono or stereo tracks.
