Hi,

Since a while back, I've experienced lots of repeated speech when moving the edit selection between tracks with ctrl+p or ctrl+;. Sometimes, the track is just spoken about two times, but occasionally (out out of 20 times), the selected track information is spoken a lot of times leading to the tts 'stuttering'for maybe 10-15 seconds. This takes a lot fo cpu on my machine when it happens which sometimes pops up the 'protools ran out of cpu time'dialog. This behaviour goes away if I close the mix window (which of course is not a good idea). Perhaps this is more prominent on my system than more modern ones (I have a Mac mini 2014 Interl I7). Still I am wondering if anyone else has seen this and perhaps knows a solution to the issue.

Thanks,
//Peter

Now that Pro Tools is announcing track names automatically (unfortunately), it interferes with Flo Tools performing the same task. If you want, you can go into the Flo Tools macro group and delete the macros named "Speak and Select Next Track" and "Speak and Select Previous Track." That'll fix it until we push a new version soon.
HTH,
Slau
