In setting up the ks88mk2 in pro tools do you first after launching pro tools do you go to setup first or midi first?

Hi list members, i’d like to know after pro tools is launched, do you first go to setup then choose the hardware komplete, or do you go to setup midi first? I’m not sure which item do you do first after pro tools is launched. Thank you. for any information that you might have concerning these questions.
