I have a template of instruments setup in pro tools but i'm having a problem with selecting sounds!

Hi list members, I have a project that has instruments setup, but it seems that I have a problem when selecting an instrument that after I arm the track or in this case an instrument that after disarming the instrument and I go to the next instrument, I only hear the first instrument, is there something else that I need to do? I'm not really familiar with flo tools yet but what can I do to fix this problem? Thank you for any information that you might have concerning this question. P.S. Is there a fast way to change tempo as well as the metronome click to eighth notes? Thank you.
