Hello everyone,

How do you bypass some of the num pad keyboard shortcuts like num pad 3 = Record, when recalling a memory marker? For instance, when I type period 3 period to move to that marker, I get an error message track is not armed for recording. I wish to use num pad 3 strictly as a number not for recording. must I change the mode in preferences/operations? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Steve B

Just to be clear, you're pressing decimal 3 decimal and not period 3 period, correct? There's no conflict with numeric keypad modes and recalling memory locations. There is certainly some degree of timeout after pressing the decimal key so the whole process of recalling a memory location should take perhaps one second.
HTH,
Slau

my apologies, yes I have been pressing decimal point, #, decimal point on the numeric key pad to recall markers. I will have another go at it and increase my pace of triggering the Keyboard button sequence. Thanks for your help...
