Is it ok to upgrade to the new os to be used with Pro Tools?

Hi, list members, i’d like to know if it is ok to update to the newest os for mac? I’m using sonoma, at the moment, but i’m unsure of whether i should update to the new operating system for mac. I would appreciate any information that you might have concerning this question. Thank you.
