Hi Nils, I first checked with apple to see if the now older operating system was available, but I found it not to be unless I take my system in to the store. This is information that I found out. But my question is whether anyone just happens to know whether this new operating system truly supports pro tools and other applications? I just heard that there's something new but I think that it is nativeaccess but i'm not sure What do you think? Thank you for any information that you might have concerning my questions.

There are also programs like Super Duper and Carbon Copy Cloner that can make a bootable drive backup of your system and I find those very accessible and usable. Nick Gawronski
