It seems as if the keyboard shortcut SHIFT+UP/Down Arrow has stopped
working and will no longer change the active playlist for the selected
track(s).

I've got several vocal tracks across multiple projects on which I have
tracked multiple takes on separate playlists.

However, whenever I try to listen to any of the other playlists in any
of the sessions, it will not change from the most recently-selected
playlist.

For example, I seem to be stuck on LeadVocal.04. If I use
CTRL+Backslash to create a new blank playlist, that works fine and the
new playlist is created. But I am then unable to navigate back to the
previous playlists.

Any assistance in resolving this would be a life-saver and greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Alex

Hmm… not sure why that would be. Of course, it's a native Pro Tools command so it should absolutely work. Double-check that you're in Waveform view and see if that makes a difference. It most certainly makes a difference for MIDI tracks when the track view is not set to Clips. LMK,

Slau,
I was finally able to get back into the studio and check this out again. I verify that I was in waveform view, but the shortcut key to change active playlist still does not work.
What is strange is that when I turn off voiceover, then I am able to use the shortcut key and change play lists as expected.
I actually and reinstalled flow tools, hoping that might fix the problem, but it did not.
It almost appears as if voiceover is interfering with this keystroke somehow, but I can’t understand how or why.
Any insight or feedback would be greatly appreciated. I have several projects that I need to finish up, but I cannot do so until I get this issue resolved.
Mini thanks.

Hey Slau,
My apologies for not being able to schedule any time for a phone call
over the past week.
However, just an update on steps I took and where I am with this situation now.

I upgraded to PT 2020.9 and kept my FloTools 2020.3 installation in-place.
When I opened a project, I was able to use the Shift+Up/Down arrow
keys to change the active playlist, with VoiceOver running, and it
worked as it should.

However, none of my FloTools macros were working, so I updated to
FloTools 2020.5.

When I reopened the same Protools project to test the playlist
shortcut keys again, they no longer worked.

If I disable voiceover, the keys work correctly. But when I re-enable
it, they do not, even with all of the upgrades.

Do you have any suggestions for me to try, until I'm able to get
enough time to schedule a call with you?

Thanks so much.

Hey folks!

I am also having an issue with Flo Tools & the macros. The macros appear to be disabling themselves on their own? Would appreciate some assistance with this.

Also, some tips on settings would be helpful if there are any. Have followed the tips on the Flo Tools page with no functionality following. Have been in touch with Keyboard Maestro who have referred me back to you guys.
