OS Ventura info/advice

Hi all, I hope you’re all off to a good start in 2023.

I’ve recently taken delivery of a new mac studio with a view to gradually upgrading my main studio computer from my old trusty 2011 iMac.

I’ve just installed a bunch of plugins and the latest protools, and its just dawned on me the latest FloTools is 2022.4 or some such. I’m guessing this won’t work on Ventura just yet?

I’m guessing I just hold tight for now but I’d welcome any info or vague estimates of when things may catch up with Ventura

Hi Brian,

That is the latest version and it does work in Ventura but the Ventura installer version is in the Drop Box. Email me off list if you don't have access and/or I can just attach it directly. LMK

Excellent news, I hadn’t thought to check the drop box folder, thanks Slau! Now here’s hoping that jumping forward a decade in computing power is actually a major improvement ☺️

Hi Slau,

We have been trying to install the FloTools 2022.04 version on macOS 13 Ventura, but we have the following error:

"Not authorized to send Apple events to System Events (-1743)"

Any suggestions on how to solve it?

Maybe if you could provide us with the dropbox link with the Ventura installer would work.
