Thanks malay
In my MD PSM theory paper there was one  question name one new national programme you would like to introduce with justification. I had given name National Zoonotic disease control programme with main focus on rabies. Its good that the programme is shaped. Inspite of  training and all still there is low compliance to intradermal route post exposure prophylaxis. Even when you have only one patient of dog bite you can save 20 % vaccine because as such in IM route it is 5 doses and in ID there is only 4 doses. This simple maths is not getting into the minds of our medical officers.

Giving an ID dose requires more skill than an IM dose. That is an especially huge hurdle to cover.

ID route is as equally easier as IM as our staff is already giving BCG vaccine no extra skill is required.
