PSKReporter shows my "TX" location of CM97CA. The "RX" location is correct at CM97CQ.

I've reset WSJT-X back to it's default config. I've searched my log files and find no reference to the "CA" variant.

I'm using the correct location in WSJT-X, and that is the only reporter app I've got.

Can I get some clues on where to go looking for the errant info? I want to fix this, but I don't know where to start.

Hi Nate
I had similar problem when I moved  from IO81Em to IO81ap. Both locations would show up on the Map.
Philip thought I was running two versions of wsjt on the same computer.
However when I moved I obtained a new PC which had never been near IO81em.
I then set about looking at data bases on the Web were old data was stored changed all I could find. Hamcall was I think the source.
Hope this helps

Appreciate the reply.
I have but one computer, and it only runs one copy of WSJT-X.

I've never been on HamCall, and didn't even know it was a thing till this message.

I did a Google search for the wrong grid location and got zero hits.

One other thing I've noticed is that it's only my transmit packets that have the wrong location

The receive packets have the correct location.

My Rx packets are what my copy of WSJT-X is recording.

So, that tells me I've gotta have my grid location wrong... some place else.

But where that might be, I have no clue.

According to my logs, at 2021-02-01 18:32:34Z you fired up wsjt-x with CM97CA as your locator. This reported spots from that time until 2021-0-02 21:23:42Z. Since then you have been using CM97CQ as your locator.

One of the issues is that when somebody else reports your signal, they only supply a 4 character locator (as that is what is carried by FT8). It looks as though the system is picking the wrong 6 character locator for you. I'll patch the database for you.

Thank you Philip
I didn't think I'd messed up my calls, but if your database says that's the case, it must be true.

Moving forward, how do I fix errors myself? Not that I intend on screwing up again, I just know me, and typographical errors are not beyond my abilities.
