ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Public Relations Society of India, Mumbai Chapter, will be held on Thursday, 22^nd March, 2018 at 6.00 pm at the Terrace, Mumbai Press Club, Azad Maidan, Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai 400001.

 

The following Agenda would be discussed.

 

Agenda:

 

·         Welcoming the members by the Chairman.

·         To confirm, ratify and adopt the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 12^th August, 2010

·         Secretary’s Report since 2010.

·         To review, discuss and pass the Audited Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss Account of the Chapter for the years ended 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.

·         Formation of New Committee for the period 2018 – 20.

·         Introduction of new committee members for the period 2018 – 20.

·         Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

·         The AGM will be followed by a conversation with Mr. Sandeep Nath, noted Bollywood lyricist.

·         Dinner.

 

AGM is scheduled for 6 pm but if there is no adequate quorum, the meeting will be postponed to 6.15 pm. It will be further adjourned for 15 minutes if the quorum is not complete at that time and will resume at 6.30 pm. 

 

Spouses are most welcome to join the conversation and dinner.

Dear Sir,

First of all thanks for the information about AGM of PRSI - Mumbai Chapter. I would like to submit that before going for the AGM or for the election process, first we need to verify and update the membership list and the membership validity.  

The above may help to organise the elections and the AGM as per the provisions in the 'Indian Societies Act XXVI of 1961'.

Please take a note of this submission.
