Hi there,

The release notes for C++ in 3.7.0 mention the introduction of a "new MOMI (maybe-outside-memory-interval) parser".

I've searched the code and mailing list and can't find any references to this parser. Any explanation and pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Ben

+Gerben Stavenga Can you help document how external users can use the new parser?

The new parser code is not yet safe for big endian machines. However you can enable it by compiling with

-DPROTOBUF_ENABLE_EXPERIMENTAL_PARSER
