Hi all,

I have a docker container locally that runs prometheus and my current time zone is in East Europe (UTC+2)

I want to get data from a jenkins server which is location on the East Coast in US.

I cannot execute any queries because of this message "Warning! Detected 15134.90 seconds time difference between your browser and the server. Prometheus relies on accurate time and time drift might cause unexpected query results."

It's awkward that a day ago I tried the same thing but with another jenkins server, but the context remains, running docker container locally and the server in the US and it worked fine.

Now that I tried on a new server and updating the prometheus.yml to target the new server I get that error.

Any help, please?

I must mention I'm on Windows, not linux, if it helps this info

Hello,

The times of the server and your laptop are not aligned. Timezones don't
have anything to do with this.
