I have a situation where I'm providing a query string parameter via a relabeling rule although I can't seem to remove it with the metric_relable_configs.  For example, say I wanted to remove the following "target" label only form the Endpoint column after the scrape has been completed, is this even possible?

So far what I've tried hasn't been successful.

What exactly have you tried?

You're probably better off not setting the target label in the first place.  You only need __param_target for blackbox exporter; labels which start with underscores are stripped from the final label set.

You do need to be very careful that the overall label set is still unique.  Your "instance" label seems already to carry the target, in which case not setting the "target" label should be fine.

This will likely be done in your scrape job configuration and its relabel_configs section.
