still running wmi_exporter v0.7.0 from Mar 13, 2019 in production - what are the risks?

Hi

We have a few hundred legacy windows servers where we manually installed
wmi_exporter v0.7.0.

The application running on windows is also legacy.

Now the project has been renamed and has several breaking changes
(meaning we have to redo all dashboards and alerts)

What is the risk and future problems if we do not update the
wmi_exporter? In the past people said "never touch a running system".

Are there also security problems?
