Alert to capture flapping windows services

Hi everyone,

I am looking to create an alert that captures where windows services are "flapping".

I.E going between "start pending" to"stopped" and "Stopped" to "running" over a period of time.

Grafana visualises this nicely with this;

sum(wmi_service_state{instance=~"$server"}) by (state)

However depending where Prometheus is at scrape time can see the service as running and difficult to see where this is occurring as alerts come and go.

try changes() - shows the time service changed state over a time window
