max_over_time with dynamic time range

Hello,

I'm trying to get the max value of a metric (ifOperStatus) using grafana and a Singlestat panel.

For now I do the following request:

- max_over_time(ifOperStatus{job='snmp',instance='$Device',ifDescr='$Interface'}[1d])

I would like to make the [1d] range-vector configurable when modifying the time range in grafana dashboard. For now, I have only the latest max value for the last day.

Is it possible, and how?

You can use $__interval for the range. See http://docs.grafana.org/reference/templating/#the-interval-variable
