AlertManager - Response from Webhook Receiver ?

Hi

When alertManager is configured to send webhook alerts, does it expect to receive a response back from webhook receiver like 204 No Content?

I think by default the webhook receiver should respond with 204 No Content but I am not 100% sure.

If not, how does the alertManager knows the webhook receiver has actually received the alert?

Does it retransmit the alert until it receives a response back from receiver?

Alertmanager considers responses with 2xx status code as successful.
It will retry on 5xx status codes.
