Https and basic authentication

Hi team I found in version 2.24.0 the both https and authentication features are enabled. I am getting exactly how to config those by the documentation in official web site can any one guide me to config TLS for prometheus and enabling the Authentication for the instance.

I tried it too and made the mistake of placing the auth configuration in the main config file which didn't work, these configs should be placed in a separate `--web.config.file`. I hope this helps

Every think is good I am using prometheus operator how did I do these things if it is a stand alone then it is easy but in operator how shall pass it via secerts

I guess that it will soon be integrated into the operator. It is not yet there.

Yes I done it in prometheus from operator

The prometheus can accept the secrets so pass those files and certain in the form of secrets and then start the container with web.config.file=path to file then it will work.
