process_exporter for moniting priviledged process

Does process_exporter have a feature to monitor processes owned by root user?

I'm failing to monitor specific process and wondering if that could be the reason?

Basically - is there a way to run process_exporter with priviledge escalation to catch the metrics of process run by root user?

AFAIK the only way would be to start it as root.
