Need suggestion on running cloudwatch exporter

hello,

We are planning to make use of cloudwatch exporter to monitor AWS resources.

Thinking of few options on running cloudwatch exporter:

• Run Cloudwatch exporter on dedicated EC2 instance
  or
  
• Run Cloudwatch exporter and Pushgateway and such components can share one EC2 instance
  or
  
• have Cloudwatch exporter run on prometheus server itself, but thinking it may not be good idea, as it might consume resources on prometheus server and might make that slow.

Or any other options you can suggest or recommend which one is better!

hi Krishna, I know about Pushgateway functionality.

My question was more of running CloudwatchExporter on EC2 but can we share same instance where Puchgateway is running, or do we need to have dedicate instance for CloudwatchExporter to expose metrics?
