Docker compose: resource usage is high

Hi All,

I wants to monitor docker, which is running standalone server.

I followed the below link to monitor the docker container and recourses.

Link: https://prometheus.io/docs/guides/cadvisor/#docker-compose-configuration 

My query: 

docker-compose.yml created 3 containers prometheus, cadvisor and redis.

1. prometehus container itself taking more memory(between 2-3GB) 

2. cadvisor container itself taking more CPU(40%) 

How to reduce the memory and CPU for those containers ?

Prometheus looks for metrics scrapped metrics are large more cpu and memory it consumes
