snmp exporter not working

to Prometheus Users

when I connect to my exporter

I get Unknown module 'if_mib'

I can runsnmp walk against my devices

buth When I add them to promethues I get

server returned HTTP status 400 Bad Request

I am a bit confused of what to look at next to see where that issue is
