Prometheus graph shows decreasing value for an non-decreasing gauge

Hello All,

I am seeing a weird behavior on the graph being plotted by prometheus.

We are using a gauge which is always a non-decreasing value.

When we query the gauge from the DB, it is showing an always increasing value across time intervals.

But there are decreasing graph plot in the UI. Could this be a bug in prometheus or we are doing something wrong. Attached the screen shot of the graph.
