I am using blackbox's icmp to check if servers are up/down. In Grafana, I want to create a dashboard that says, for example, 5 of 300 are down. Is that even possible and how would you do that?

The number of up targets would be sum (probe_success).

The total number of targets would be count (probe_success).

Depending on how you want to present the data, you can use the stat visualization to show both numbers.
