Grafana alerts

HI All,

Am new to prometheus and grafana, but i finished everything except alerts.

How can we configure alerts in the Grafana dashboard if the server went down.

Kindly help me

Are you wanting to use Grafana for alerting or are you trying to use
Prometheus alerts (via Alertmanager)?

Any one is better but the output is to send alerts via mail when the server went down

Using Prometheus alerts with Alertmanager you can trigger emails. Then
you can alert on "up == 0" to detect when a scrape fails, which could be
due to a server going down (as well as other reasons such as network
issues).
