Configure Alertmanager proxy through https_proxy ENV variable

Hello,

I have configured my Alertmanager proxy through http_config.proxy_url and it works this way.

However I had to hard code the proxy_url in the configuration file. Is it possible to tell it somehow to refer to the https_proxy ENV variable that is set to the same value?

Some users reported that it works setting the HTTP_PROXY ENV variable like here : https://github.com/prometheus/alertmanager/issues/628

However it doesn't work for me. I am using Alertmanager:v0.21.0. Did env variable subsitution got deprecated?
