delay_seconds: -20 , What does this parameter mean

Scrape the first metric and wait 20 seconds to scrape the second metric?

thanks

Hi,

See https://github.com/prometheus/cloudwatch_exporter#timestamps - Data sometimes takes a while to converge in CloudWatch, and this setting is used to not try to scrape "current" data from CloudWatch into Prometheus, but only data that is at X seconds / minutes old, in the hope that that older data doesn't change anymore. Then you can use "offset" to access the older data as if it was current. But the link explains it better :)

Regards,
Julius
