Pushgateway vs pushing textfile metrics to s3

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any advantages / disadvantages to pushing node exporter textfile metrics to an s3 bucket, setting up the s3 bucket to serve files as a static website (internally) and then configuring prometheus to scrape this. As oppposed to using the pushgateway. The use case would be for batch processes which are not long running and only run every 12 hours.
