When is end of life for `match` and `match_re`?

Hello,

We know that at some point `match` and `match_re` were deprecated and we must now use `matchers`. Does the Prometheus team have an official date where `match` and `match_re` will be fully deprecated and no longer work?

There is no official timeline for that. Note that Alertmanager is
still pre-1.0. Which officially means there is no guarantee against
breaking changes anyway.

Un-officially, I would expect that the old matchers stay in place
until there will be a grand cleanup of old features that we don't want
to carry into the glorious 1.0 release, after which there will be
official guarantees for the first time.

However, I don't know of any concrete plan when to release
1.0. Personally, I think it should happen soon-ish, but I'm not the
maintainer of the Alertmanager.
