Want to use Prometheus with istio for Remote_Write.

Can you be more specific?

Remote write config just requires you to give the URL of the remote system you want to write to.

Sorry I'm still not sure what you're asking about.

All the config goes into Prometheus config file. You shouldn't have to do anything with Istio.

Prometheus will scrape metrics targets that you tell it about in the config file, either via static config or service discovery, and then send to your configured remote write.

But we are using istio and Prometheus adapter which collects istio metrics and makes them available to Prometheus. I can't find a way to bake configuration in the image or no easy way to give these URLs in ISTIO for remote storage.
