Plan to make Prometheus 2.45 the new LTS release

Hello Prometheus Community,
As we approach the one-year milestone since the release of Prometheus
2.37 LTS, it's time for a new LTS release. I'm considering introducing
Prometheus 2.45 as a new LTS version, with the release date being
sometime in June (and EOL in June 2024).
Under this plan, Prometheus 2.37 LTS would continue to receive our full
support alongside the new 2.45 release for an additional 1.5 months.
Users will be able to upgrade easily.
Our newest team member, Jesús Vázquez, will do the initial rollout of
Prometheus 2.45. Following this, I plan to handle the regular
maintenance and backporting work for the new LTS version.
