Guidance for contributing to TSDB

Hello everyone,

I am Sanskar and  I would love to start contributing to Prometheus's codebase. In particular, I was hoping to go through the TSDB component, since I found a few  issues labeled as "long hanging fruit" belonging to that component. I went through this blog and also went through the paper on Gorilla, which helped me get some idea of the architecture.

It would be great if I could know a gentle way of going through the TSDB codebase, a few files and methods I should make myself privy to first in the very beginning, so that I am able to make sense of the same, instead of getting lost.
