Hi 👋

First release candidate, 2.18.0-rc.0 is now released!

It has some amazing improvements, notably a significant reduction of the WAL size and an experimental Jaeger tracing support! The latter finally allows inspecting each query that was made against the Prometheus server with all the details like latencies for each step, query details etc.

This release also fixes the federation to not get data from remote endpoints as it was designed.

Thanks all who contributed to this release! 🤗
