Prometheus v2.40.0 is available

Hello everyone,

Prometheus v2.40.0 is now available. Copy pasting the text from the release candidate announcement:

This is a very exciting release that comes with support for native histograms. The changelog/release notes describe how to enable and use this feature.

This release also adds a new service discovery for OVHcloud.
