Dear Prometheus users,

Prometheus v2.35.0 has been released ! This release includes a variety of changes and enhancements. 

Note that in this release, Prometheus has been built with Go 1.18 wich contains two noticeable changes related to TLS:

• TLS 1.0 and 1.1 disabled by default client-side.
  Prometheus users can override this with the min_version parameter of tls_config.

• Certificates signed with the SHA-1 hash function are rejected. This doesn't apply to self-signed root certificates.

Binaries are available on the GitHub release page, and container images can be found at Quay and Docker Hub.
