Inquiry on Polymer Extrusion and Deposition Simulation in ProjectChrono

Hi All,

I am working on polymer extrusion and deposition simulation (3D printing with polymers) and wanted to check if this can be implemented in ProjectChrono. Below are the key details of the process:

1. Molten polymer is extruded from the nozzle at melting temperature with a shear rate.
2. The substrate is deposited onto the printing bed or a previously deposited bead.
3. The material cools and solidifies after deposition.

Currently, we are not considering phase change, but we would like to incorporate temperature- and shear rate-dependent viscosity changes. This means the simulation should be able to calculate shear rate and track temperature variations throughout the process.

I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance on this.
