Hello,
Would it be possible to use Project Chrono with a cad model of a robot we designed? I am a student working on a robotics project and would like to be able to simulate our robot on the lunar surface.
We created CAD models using Creo Parametric and are looking for a way to simulate the robot in action.
Is Project Chrono something that can be used with our CAD files and if so how easy would it be to set up?

Thank you for your time.

Armando – if you go to the link below, you’ll find models of the VIPER lunar rover operating on deformable terrains.

The models are ready to use, out of the box. There’s also information about how the tests/sims were set up and such.

I hope this helps.
