Hi everyone,

I’m new to Chrono and was wondering if there’s a straightforward way to import STL/(other formats) files or assemblies directly from SolidWorks into Chrono, while preserving all constraints, joints, and collision data between parts.

Is there a recommended workflow or tool for this, or do we need to re-establish these properties after import?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

See the associated repository chrono-solidworks. This is a Chrono companion tool which can be installed as an add-in for SolidWorks.
