Dear Chrono Developers,
I am newer to use PyChrono, after following the installing instructions, and directly run demo_VEH_TwoCars.py file on the environment, but the two cars' running speed is apparently slower than the same project compiled by C++, and I am wondering whether it is same for other people, or it is only for my computer. Thanks a lot.

Best,
Brown Shi

A couple of questions:

  • Are you talking about execution speed of the two different programs or actual vehicle speeds?
  • What version of PyChrono do you use and how did you install it?
  • What version of the Chrono sources do you use and how did you build it? Did you use a Release build?
  • To compare apples to apples, it would be best to build the Python Chrono module (aka PyChrono) yourself, simultaneously with the other Chrono modules and therefore using consistent settings.
