Position: Cloud Tester
Location: Benton Harbor, MI
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Interview Mode: Google Video Interview
We have an immediate opening for a Cloud Tester for a 12 Month + Contract.
What you will do in this role:
- Identify business critical scenarios and share with scrum team
- Attend all Scrum Ceremonies and identify any risks and/or issues preventing the Scrum Team from achieving the Sprint Goal
- Review and provide feedback on the acceptance criteria to the Product Owner and Scrum Team
- Assist in refining acceptance criteria refined (make sure all details are provided. E.g. Browsers and its versions for UI stories, Mobile app specifications as applicable, Appliance details)
- Test case creation for API level testing/UI test cases as applicable
- Execution of test cases using specified appliance (If applicable for all appliances, test on one appliance per category/all available appliances)
- Handling the end to end Defect cycle
- Plan & update the regression test suite as needed
- Maintain test data, test scripts, test results
- Ensure the knowledge level for testing team is up to date
- Validate QA environment and provide approval for Staging deployment based on build test status
- Perform sanity checks on Staging at the end of every Sprint
- Define, measure and monitor testing metrics
- Bring transparency to the testing status of each story by creating/sharing reports displaying metrics via RTC
- Conduct Root cause analysis on missed or leaked defects
- Create utility or tool, as required, to simulate and test particular scenario
- Develop and automate tests for software validation
Must Have Skills
- 3-5+ years Strong testing background in both web-based application and server-side testing
- Hands on experience in White box testing and API testing
- Develops testing strategy and user acceptance testing plan
- Experience in cloud-based application testing (AWS or Azure or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge and experience of load, performance and stress testing
- Knowledge of tools like Jenkins CI, Test-NG, JMeter
- Java Programming
- Must be detail-oriented & work under deadline pressure, have the ability to deliver on time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Change Management Process
- Experience with testing IoT Applications if any
- Bachelor’s degree required
