Position: Web Application Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Interview Mode: Phone followed by Skype/In person Interview
The Web Developer will collaborate closely with the internal IT associates located in US to build, enhance and maintain web solutions to meet the global business needs. This role requires exposure to industry best practices, technology trends, collaborate with the global team, and balance priorities
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
· Minimum 5-6 years’ experience as Web application developer.
· Expertise in web frontend development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, XML, XSL, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and Knockout JS
· Experience in SharePoint Server 2010, 2013 and 2016, SharePoint Online, ADFS architecture in SharePoint, SharePoint Client Side Object Model (CSOM),custom workflow and forms development and responsive design, developing master pages, page layouts, display templates
· Exposure to designing web application using ASP.Net, MVC, C#, WCF
· Experience working with an understanding of RDBMS such as SQL and Stored procedures
· Working knowledge with Visual Studio Team Services, Visual Studio 2010/2013/2015
· Experience creating and deploying PowerShell scripts and consuming web services
· Experience working with Cloud Architecture i.e. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure
· Experience working with Data Services i.e. ASP .NET Web API, REST API, JSON
· Experience with at least one of the source control mechanism (SVN, GIT, TFS etc.)
· Experience in writing automated deployment scripts
· Experience in writing automated unit test scripts, creating unit test plans
· Experience with software methodologies like waterfall, agile, iterative
· Experience in creating detailed design, contributing to architecture document / high level design document
