Position:  System Administrator

Location:  Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Interview Mode: Phone followed by Skype/In person Interview 

 

Description:

Provides technical implementation and life cycle support of solutions in endpoint malware prevention. Applies IT knowledge, specialized technical experience, research, and analysis to create technical solution specifications that meets requirements. Knowledgeable in common tools that support area of expertise. Drives implementation and provides technical support for escalated operational incidents and problems. Monitors and reports task assignment progress and status as required and escalates risks and issues to key stakeholders. Proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, tools and engineering methods that are applicable within area of responsibility and expertise. 5+ years of experience.

2) What are the top skills/requirements this person is required have?

 

- Experience with troubleshooting McAfee products

 

- Support and troubleshooting of Windows Operating System and client-side security software

 

- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software related issues

 

- Experience with other next generation anti-malware products is a plus

b. Required Skill 2: McAfee ENS

 

d. Required Skill 3: Windows 7 / Windows 10

 

e. Required Skill 4: Troubleshooting

 

3) What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required? 5+

Service Now Experience, McAfee MNE/MDE/FRP/DLP, CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack

 

5) What is the environment that this person will be working in (i.e. group setting vs individual role)?

Work as a member of the Endpoint McAfee Administration team in the Desktop Engineering group

 

6) Is any testing required for this role?

Testing of products, policies, task, etc. is required before implementation.

 

7) Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role?

On-site role with potential for some work from home.
