Job Description:
Position Requirements
1. Develop architectures for selected Cloud Engineering services
2. Programming and coding for Cloud platforms, using languages such as Java, Python, Ruby
3. Create and maintain appropriate architectural documentation
4. Work effectively with other developers in an Agile environment
5. Work closely with Service Architect to ensure architectural compatibility with service requirements, and feature roadmap and backlog
Skills Required
● BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
● Deep understanding of networking and internet protocols
● 2+ years experience with public cloud IaaS (Relevant certifications preferred)
● Experience in development of enterprise-grade, highly available services
● 2+ years programming experience with languages such as Java, Python, Javascript/JSON, Terraform, Ruby
● 2+ years experience with automation tools and languages such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, CloudFormation, ARM
● Familiarity with REST API design and associated authentication/authorization
● Experience and familiarity with DevOps / IaC processes and tools – i.e. GitHub, GitLab, Jira
● Experience in Agile/Scrum
● “Own what you write” DevOps mindset
● Solid CI/CD experience
● Test automation framework experience
Position 2
Job Title: DevOps Cloud Architect
Location: St. Pittsburgh, PA or St Louis, MO
Duration: Long Term
Experience Level: 8+ Years
Position Requirements
1. Design architectures for Cloud Platform services
2. Oversee implementation of Cloud platform services
3. Support new Cloud projects and use-cases in various Cloud Platforms - AWS, Azure
4. Provide consultancy and support to existing Cloud Tenants
5. Create and maintain appropriate architectural documentation
6. Ensure the scalability and security of the chosen design, working within compliance requirements
7. Lead and collaborate closely with Platform Developers to ensure adherence to design criteria or needed modifications

POSITION SUMMARY
DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Automation Scripting Programmer
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
• Experience with automation/configuration tools including Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible and puppet
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services deploying infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
• A working understanding of code and scripting (Python, Perl, PHP/HTML or Ruby)
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
Education Requirement(s):
• BS Degree in computer Science or MIS
• Or 2+ years of relevant work experience
Skill & Competency Requirements:
• 2+ Years DevOps Experience
o Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, Vagrant and Git
o Scripting/Programming – Python, Perl
Preferences: (list nice-to-haves such a specific knowledge items, certifications, skills, abilities, etc.)
• Working Knowledge of R and R Studio
• Scientific IT support background
• Experience with Parallel compute environments
